5/9/08 - I'm taking off for Boston tonight! Team Rock is competing at the Regional Championship tomorrow at Metro Rock. Good luck to everyone who is climbing. Next stop Divisionals!

5/8/08 - We are holding a great event at The Rock Club next Saturday, May 17 - the first ever Climb for the Cure event! We're hoping for a great turnout to fund raise for an incredible organiztion - the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation (www.Komen.org). 5/2/08 - Team Rock is heading to NJRG tomorrow for our last local comp of the year. Next week we head to Boston for the Regional Championships.  Time to see how all the hard work has paid off. Check out the Team Rock site for the latest news.

4/24/08 - The weather is getting nicer and outdoor climbing season is definitely here. Sport climbing at West point and some trad at the Gunks this weekend. Can't wait!

2/2/08 - I went to my first competition of the year at Manhattan Plaza Health Club.  Well, my first comp that I got to climb in myself.  I almost forgot how much fun competing can be, almost.  The terrain was so much more my style than TRC - very vertical, crimpy, technical and some great problems.  A fun day all around. I wasn't really looking to win (although everyone wants to). My goal was to go home exhausted with my fingers torn up. That would be a good day. Success- my fingers killed.  And to my surprise, I took home 1st place!  For the win I got this "women's laptop tote bag."  I'm not sure about it, but it is my favorite color - maroon!  Click here to see some photos.

1/20/08 - Team Rock rocked the Regional Championship. Nearly everyone made finals and EVERYONE climbed their hearts out! Four members of the team have been invited to the National Championship in Boulder, CO in February. Yay! Time to turn it on and work even harder.

12/10/07 - Team Rock has been climbing hard! They have just finished the last competition before Regional Championships and the kids did great! Check out the Team Rock website for all the latest news and photos.

10/18/07 - I've managed to get up the Urban Climber Magazine and InTown Westchester Magazine articles! Read all about the Send The States trip.

10/14/07 - So we have this great Women's group at TRC.  Everyone is really supportive and a lot of fun.  Today was special - we made a group trip to Peter's Kill in the Gunks!  Awesome day! Visit the TRC website to see photos and get more information about the group.

10/8/07 - The Rock Club has just finished it's first Adult Climbing League season. I was partnered up with Danielle, Shannon and Nancy. Our team packed a punch :) We took home first place in the team championship and I was first in the individuals. More than that, it was good fun and definitely got me in shape.

9/28/07 - Team Rock has started!
2007/2008 should be a big year for Team Rock! The team has doubled in size since last year and we're excited to have so many new kids who are eager to dedicate so much time and energy into improving their climbing. Go Team Rock!!
